MARK'S BOOTLEG TRADE LIST

Trade Guidelines (including my 'Want List'):

* If you are interested in making a trade, or if you want to contact me for any other reasons, please click here. Please make the subject of the e-mail "BOOTLEG LIST" (in all caps please) so your e-mail isn't deleted. If you do not have Microsoft Outlook, my e-mail is MarkJC1018@gmail.com.

* I trade on a 1:1 CD basis.

* I use DAO (Disc-At-Once). I ask that you do the same.

* I use Exact Audio Copy (EAC) and I write my CDs at a MAXIMUM speed of "4x" to try to prevent those annoying "click" and "crackle" sounds.

* I am looking for almost anything (as well as more of what I already have -- ESPECIALLY Bowie, Rolling Stones, Hendrix, Joplin, Zeppelin, Springsteen, and The Doors), including The Band, Cream, Billy Idol, Bob Dylan, The Animals, Eric Clapton, Jefferson Airplane, Steppenwolf, Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Marley, The Kinks, Queen, The Marshall Tucker Band, U2, John Cougar Mellancamp, CCR, Van Halen, anything by Motown artists, et al. The list is endless!! And by reading a portion of my "Want List," I don't want you to think that I only listen to "classic rock." I am also interested in new recording artists, as well. Just not as much.

* Most of my bootlegs are comprised of *.SHN files. A definition of *.SHN files is as follows: *.SHN indicates an audio file compressed in the Shorten format. *.SHN is a lossless compression algorithm. Unlike 'lossy' compression formats like MiniDisc and MP3, the WAV files created and traded in *.SHN format do not lose any quality.

* If a bootleg isn't originally a *.SHN file or another type of lossless compression, it will be noted next to the bootleg.

* If you are interested in something from my collection, please contact me. If you have a Web page or a list of your bootlegs, please include that in your e-mail.

* When I ship my items, I don't include jewel cases since they are easy to break and could possibly damage the CD. As a result, I ship all CDs safely in "CD Envelopes." I mail all of my packages First Class. I ask that you do the same.

* If possible, I include a track list with all of my bootlegs. But since I've traded with some people who didn't include them with their CDs, those are unavailable for some bootlegs. You will be able to find out by looking at my list below if there are track listings included with each bootleg.

* My bootlegs don't have art because I only care about having the actual music (and song/track lists for each bootleg, if possible). As a result, if we make a trade, I don't need or want art with my bootleg. All I ask for is a song/track list (again, if possible).

* I've had experience with some bad traders in the past. As a result, if you contact me for a trade, I'd appreciate it if you send me your items first. But if I contact you first for a trade, I'll abide by your rules/guidelines.

* The following list is how I rank the sound quality for each bootleg.

Sound Quality On A Scale From 1 to 10:
SB: Soundboard. This is by far the best there is, 9-10 /10.
Exc: An extraordinary audience recording, 8/10.
VG+: A very good audience recording. All vocals on the bootleg are clear, 6-7 /10.
VG: A good audience recording. The music sounds great but some vocals may be hard to hear, 4-5 /10.
